Before I became a level designer, I was an attorney. I represented multi-million dollar corporations in complex litigation, built a stable career, and did everything I was supposed to do. But even at the height of that success, I knew I was in the wrong story. I didn’t grow up dreaming of courtrooms—I grew up chasing the adventures waiting on the other side of the controller.

So I made the choice to leave that life behind and pursue the one I’d wanted all along—to build the kinds of worlds that have inspired me all of my life.

Over the past year, I’ve been designing games full-time—learning how to create meaningful player experiences, work effectively in a team, and bring ideas to life inside Unreal Engine 5. I’ve spent a lot of time studying how great games guide players through spaces that feel open while remaining carefully structured and narratively grounded. My legal background taught me how to think systematically, solve complex problems under pressure, and communicate with precision. Game development has shown me where those skills truly belong—and I’ve never worked harder or felt more at home.
